The Dogwalk glass fitting dog door is manufactured from 100% high impact polycarbonate.  It is designed to fit single glazing and most sliding windows. It has the added feature of the flap being able to swing higher to reduce the problem of broken flaps.  This reduces the stress on both the flap and hinge. This dog door is suitable for medium sized dogs.  It has a four way locking system and additional security clips.

This super strong aluminium framed pet door is designed to be aesthetically pleasing while maintaining the rugged durability of aluminium construction. The single flap model is available for glass window and doors, timber doors, security screen doors and wall mount applications. A flexible and virtually unbreakable flap seals against the aluminium frame with a brush weather seal, which is held in place by powerful magnet and yet easy enough for cats and small dogs to be able to open. Ultimate security is provided with this pet door via a tough aluminium panel with a robust locking mechanism. The Thermoplastic Polyurethane flap remain flexible in extreme climates unlike PVC flaps which become brittle and fail. Glass install notes– Now suitable for Sliding doors and windows! When installing into a single glaze or double glazed unit, the cut out size varies depending on the location of installation to allow for the rebate in the frame if needed.  For a central notch cutout in a double glazed unit, allow a few mm extra on each side then you would for single glaze.  The self lining tunnel will also need to be cut down to suit the thickness of glass the dog door is being fitted to.

Ideal positioning of pet door should be about 1-2 inch above the top of the tallest users back to allow easy access.  This is a guide only and adjustments may be needed to suit your particular pet shape and size.

**NOTE** Dogs do vary in size even within the same breed, so the above recommendations are a guide only. The best way to find the right size for your pet is to cut the dimensions of the flap opening out of a piece of cardboard and see which size your pet is most comfortable going through.  You must always keep in mind a dog should be able to walk through at a natural level without having to jump or duck down.  It is crucial that  no part of the dog hits the top of the flap as he/she enters/exits.

Installation Notes

• Glass Install – This pet door will suit hinged glass doors, most sliding doors and glass panels including bottom panels of windows. To fit to glass the tunnel on both sides of the door frame will need to be cut down to suit the thickness of the glass. Simply cut down the internal tunnel with an angle grinder for a snug glass fit. This modification is easy and takes less than 5 minutes to do.  Please see the video Here and Here
• Timber Install – suits doors 30mm to 50mm.  Template is provided in the box.
• Wall Install – This door has a tunnel to suit wall installations (Tunnel sold separately Here)
• Screen Door Install –  We have installed this door into security screen doors with no issue. It is the strongest XL dog door on the market making it an ideal choice  This door comes out of the box to suit a timber door installation but we would recommend you simply cut down the internal tunnel with an angle grinder (see example Here) for a snug screen door fit. This modification easy takes less than 5 minutes to make for anyone handy with a power tool.
• 12 Months manufacturer warranty against faulty manufacture however does not cover wear and tear.

Pet Door Features

• Single Flap– Tested in extreme climates like Alaska and Arizona. Our flexible flap is made of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) resin. Our flap will not puncture, tear, or change shape in extreme low or high temperature. Dark tint to prevent sun damage and increases insulation and security. On this single flap version, the flap is on the outside frame.
• Aluminium Frame – Available in a pleasing anodised silver frame. This rugged and stylish Slimline aluminium frame is designed to fit into the cavity of a sliding door. Unlike other metal framed dog doors that have flat metal frames,  this dog door has a bevelled frame. Just like a picture frame, our frame is good enough to have a photo in it. Our dog door will look great in any room of the house.
• Security Panel– The Dog Door’s security panel is made of aluminium. It is extremely rigid, almost unbreakable panel. It has a slide out  panel which also has clips accessed by the inside only to ensure the security panel cant be slid up from the outside.
• Warranty – These pet doors have a 1 year warranty from date of purchase subject to proof of purchase date, against faulty workmanship and malfunction due to manufacturing error.
